Ouch.  It sounds like you're doing good to be alive.  I'm very fortunate and blessed.  I believe that I'm always protected and I experience always being protected.

Have a great day!

Several times although not nearly as severe as yours. My most memorable was a jock day at High School. We were the first school with forced racial integration.  Great concept (tic) kids being shipped to a school that they didn't want to go to being welcomed by kids who didn't want them there. On Fidays Jocks could wear their game jersys to school. I was a football player and wore my football jersy.  As I was walking down the hall a student who had been forced to come to this school thought it would be humorous to shove a three pronged hair pick into my gluteous maximus-ouch. I reacted by swinging at whatever had stabbed me and broke the perpetrator's jaw. I got suspended for three days.

Oh my...... Ugh!  I live in New Orleans, so I am always worried and watching for violent crime.  All my running those fun streets, I was lucky to have been safe.  Now, it seems like I don't even leave my house!

Yes I have made a full recovery so no need to worry about me on that account.  And from the looks of the posts so far not many folks on this forum have been a victim.
