Save Phineas!!

  Calling on the FC family members that are pet parents, dog-people and those that are willing to help save a life.  

     There's a petition that still needs 3717 more signatures, it would be great if the family could have them all by the end of today, Sunday May 19th!!  (I have signed the petition, it did not result in any unwanted spam or solicitation).

Thank you, I hope so too.  How sad to lose her dog when it was only trying to protect her.  My yellow lab is very protective of the cats.  When they start playing with each other and it sometimes gets out-of-hand and one of them will get a little MAD and start playing too rough.  My lab will go grab the one making trouble in her mouth and she has sometimes tried to drag one away from the other.  She's never broken the skin on them but more than once she has had cat bites/scratches on herself.  Just think...if the dog were human and the cats were dogs, the cats would be on death row.

UPDATE ON COURT APPEARANCE

Major win today! The city is giving up possession of Phineas to a veterinarian to be cared for while litigation continues. Instead of $5.00 impound fee, they are now charging $10.00 impound fee which we will try and fight but at least we know he will be safe.

The appellate court granted a stay and sent it to the local court to determine whether there should be a bon...d. The court set the amount of the bond bond to $1300.00

We also went to asked the court to appoint a guardian for Phineas. The court was afraid to rule on that leaving it to the appellate court .
