Date night
« on: May 19, 2013, 09:38:52 am »
Do you and your significant other have at least one night out of a month set aside for a date; just you and your significant other to have some time alone and romance, such as dinner and movies, etc. etc?

Me and my husband don't really set aside certain days for a date night but we also don't have kids so it makes it a lot easier to spend time together even without having date nights. Usually we have a date night after we have had a rough time at work, have been getting stressed out or when there is something we really want to do or see in the theater.

We always go out for a date, but not a romantic one. And i have never got a single flower in my 6yrs relationship.

No time for date night. I can't remember the last time we did. But I did win a dinner at a restaurant I have been wanting to try, so we'll have one in the next couple of weeks.

We don't have a set day for it, but we like to go to the movies or dinner whenever we can.  Each time could count as a date night.

It's just me and hubby...no kids. We're busy with a lot projects so when we have time, we'll go to a movie and eat out either for lunch or dinner. But no set date...just when ever we feel like it.  :)

No, unfortunately, but we should.  Our lives are so wrapped up in work and free time consumed with the activities of our children that it is near impossible for us to fit in a night away...pretty sad.  Our twentieth anniversary is in February. It isn't that we don't appreciate each other...just too busy to break away. The kids are expensive so I am working close to ninety hours a week on average. Because we still appreciate what each other does I think that we will last to see our thirtieth anniversary. I have seen a spate of divorces with people who have been together for fifteen to seventeen years and it seems, generally speaking, that they have lost that appreciation for each other.
