I'm a saver until I get enough to pay cash for what I want.  I don't use credit cards or get loans.

I'm a saver.

But, Melody, 2 of your recent topics belong in the Off-Topic section of the Forum, not in Support.

I don't even know. I'm like both that it's so hard to put a finger on which one I am. I really want to be a better saver though.

I am a spender.  I purchased a vest with hidable pockets to help me save some money and have it concealed under a jacket of mine.  I have saved $20 so far because I am aiming to save $100 for my birthday.  I plan to spend half of it on a steak, some shrimp, and I want to make a trip to the Baskin Robins here and get some ice cream.  My husband thinks I only have $25 in my wallet, but I put up $10 in my vest with the $10 I had put up last week.  He says I spend a lot.  When I was growing up, the only way for me to get what I wanted was saving pennies, because it was the only thing in the house.  I am saving pennies in my jar right now.  The last time, I saved $19 in pennies.  I want what I want, regardless of the cost, but I can't afford to get it unless I save for it.  I want a tablet with built-in wi-fi.  Last Christmas, the lowest price on one was $89.  I want to save $100 towards it, because I plan to get one this Christmas, by hook or by crook.  My Fusion Cash money is going to help me with that because I plan to split that money up between my three debit cards.  As long as my husband thinks I. am broke, he will buy things for me, but he will not know about my Fusion Cash money because that is my personal secret.  I look at it like this; since he accuses me of wasting my time playing games, he doesn't need to know about this.

That is great, I have loans and credit cards.  Since I lost my higher paying job, I have not been able to save, but I am going to save my FC  so I can payoff debts and hopefully be able to save.

For the most part, like maybe 99.5%, I'm a saver. I've never had the luxury of being able to spend. I've always been a "save-minded" person. When I do spend on things that aren't necessities, I always try to find the best deal and do as much 'research' and debating as I can before making the purchase because I want to spend as wisely as possible even on things that are "for fun".

I would love to say I'm a saver, but if I'm going to be honest, I'm a spender (just ask my husband)!

I think I'm a saver, but my husband is a spender. I always like to have cash at home just in case. I do like to splurge, but I like to have that money already set aside. That way I don't feel guilty when I spend it. We're still working on creating that balance but we're getting there.
