I was happy to have that little bit of extra cash because I needed it. I have a little bit of a better job now so I will be putting it away for a vacation maybe or down payment for a new car..Not sure yet. I'll just save and see what I want to use it for when the opportunity arises

Alas, I don't have extra money to save.  Every penny goes to surviving.

Life!!!  I wouldn't say I am saving for anything specific.  But emergency money is pretty much a necessity and also things like a house and/or car in the future even though I am not thinking about that right now.

I've been saving my money all summer for a site seeing trip that I am going on for 3 weeks. I am leaving in about a week and I am going out west. Fusion Cash has helped me, well, a little bit with this.

You can still create money to save by finding ways to cutting the cost of your necessities.  Maybe find a cheaper phone plan or lower your water usage. Consider using cheaper alternatives for personal and household items and carpooling or even biking to save on gas costs.  Hope this helps :)

You are right about emergency money being a necessity; my dryer went out Friday and I was so bummed about it! But I felt blessed to be able to replace it.  I have 6 kids so a dryer is considered a necessity for me, I don't want to go back to my Laundromat days (long term).

I'm going to look into consolidating my student loans but if that's not the best option for my specific financial situation they are usually pretty lienient with the monthly payback amount as long as you keep up with the agreement.  I'm glad you're saving for a computer instead of renting; I know 2 people who were spending $80 per month renting their computer on a 12 month basis and I asked them both if they realized that's a total of $960 and they could've gotten a HP like mine from Walmart for $288 and they both said they didn't have the money right now.......  so it's good you're waiting and saving, kudos to you!

I'm saving up for a new computer and to pay off my college loans.

I don't seem to be able to save anything, every time I have a little bit something happens and I have to use it.  This month was my car.  But I would like to save to go on a nice and long vacation

I guess you could say I am saving for retirement. I am really retired now but, am still putting money away for a few years where I can do some traveling before I get too old to travel.
