For Women Only
« on: August 04, 2013, 10:39:43 am »

First of all, if you're a man, you're not supposed to be here!  :P  Remember, curiosity killed the :cat:.

I just wanted to ask all the women who read this post if they have any trouble finding normal bras. I mean by this that I don't want to conceal or minimize anything that I took so long to grow.

Concealers and minimizers seem to be the only kind of bra that I can find wherever I go. They all seem like suits of armor for going into battle.

And they are still are all filled out when I am not in them. What's that about? ???   :o

Anyway, why do the bra manufacturers think I would ever want to hide what I've got?  :sad1:

I know Avon has a verity of bra's they don't have the extra foam in them and there prices are not that bad but I get a discount of 10% which I would extend to you if you wanted to order some. I am planning on getting the strapless one  because there is a shirt I want to were and it has spaghetti strings so normal bras don't look good with it.

I have had my set since I was 9, and so has my daughter.  I found some really nice bras in K-Mart and BeautyMark. Otherwise, I would order my bras, but I don't like bras that do not push them up.  I look flat chested in the other bras. :female:

Go to a super sports store and look at the sports bras. or research online. I don't like the foamies, they shrink in the dryer! Don't do well in the washer.

When I find a bra that compliments my assets I feel like I've won a lottery.  From my point of view, it's all about luck; being in the right place at the right time.  Until I connect with that very special slingshot I skip the bra, altogether.  I know, too much information.  LOL

I won't buy a bra unless I can try it on first to determine whether or not I can "bond" with it.
Have a great day!

Try Lane Bryant. I've bought several there that I wear more than any others. Because they're comfortable and they actually fit me/my body.

I too struggled with this problem. One of my breast is larger since I had an infection once after breast feeding. I like push up bras and full cover with no wire. p.s I bet guys are reading this anyway.

it's not to hide what you have.....but more targeted at lifted what you had when it falls.

I'm not against lift. I like underwire bras. I don't even mind stretchy bras or sports bras.

I just object to the fact that one cannot get a bra that is not already molded into a shape that's not my own. Is that supposed to be a shape that looks better than our own or what?  :dontknow:

I have a vast variety of bras for different types and colors of tops.  I like the Playtex, Warner and Vanity Fair bras the best.  I buy most of mine at J. C. Penney's.
Have a wonderful day!

Since you were 9? How'd that work out for you?  :dontknow:

How's it working out for your daughter?  :dontknow:

I'm not sure I could have handled it at that age.  :o

Anyway, I was almost 20 before anything appreciable could be noticed.
