Those may not be my very pet peeves but they are certainly on my list.  Especially the cell phone at the counter one. I have an irresistable urge to join the converation or not provide service at my counter to these folks.

One of mine is people who walk by litter without picking it up.....grrr.

when the lane is ending on the interstate and people decide to not get over until the last possible second passing up the people who are getting over like they are supposed to and causing traffic to back up even more! that infuriates me!

People who talk on cell phones or text while driving. People ahead of you in line at the supermarket with tons of coupons or price disputes. People who sneak into a parking space just ahead of you even though you have been patiently waiting for the spot.

My top 3 are...
 People who don't rinse their plate before putting it in the sink.. 
People who talk on a cellphone while standing at a store counter
Being asked my telephone number/account number AFTER I already entered in using the keypad on my phone

my pet peeves are people who say i love you who dont mean it

Mines are know it all's, and I can't stand selfish people. I also dislike attention hogs. Some people always have to be the center of attention.

I have a list of pet peeves.  Number one would be people who sends me through an inconvenience to do something for them and has the nerve to go off because they cannot find something, like my husband.  Number two would be people who want you to do something for them and then criticize you for doing it wrong; if that is the case, do it yourself and shut up.  Number three would be people who think you are supposed to kiss their behind when they are the ones doing wrong.  I don't brownnose to anyone because I am human.

1. People who you are trying to hold a conversation with and they continue texting or facebooking or whatever they are doing on their phones. How rude it is! Why continue talking when they are not really listening?   

2. People that think too highly of theirselves  and not enough of others.

3. People who don't pick up after themselves - ever!

When I tell everyone that lives here instructions on how to do something and they act like I never said anything, then they ask how to do it many times.

When my boyfriend ask me a question and talks over me .my kids arguing nonstop.

Pedestrians and Bicyclists who disregard the rules of the road.
People who drive vehicles that use a lot of gas for no good reason (driving a Hummer in the suburbs)
People who leave a bunch of food on their plate when they leave a restaurant.
I'm sure there are more but these are the ones I could think of for now.

The cell phone one you mentioned is a BIG ONE.

Some other big ones I've noticed thanks to a mean, lazy coworker who just needs to retire already: People who only have something negative to bring to the table. People who get aggravated when asked to do their jobs. People who DON'T do their jobs, yet management expects everyone else to pick up their slack and said person never gets in trouble for it.
