I was pretty shocked when I saw her performance. She was trying way too hard. No class!

I can't believe the performance Miley Cyrus did on the VMA.  I believe the network should have censored her performance.  Just goes to show how vulgar our youth have become and it is being accepted.  I knew Billy Ray and Tish before Billy Ray became "famous".  Needless to say, Miley (or Ariel, as her real name use to be) is her mother's daughter.  Tish use to do a well known pole dance at a local strip club before she & Billy Ray hooked up.

But look, what she has accomplished is EVERYBODY is talking about her and that was the goal.  Although it was horrible, lack of acknowledgment would have been better than giving her the millions of headlines and clips she got - that was what she was aiming for.  Now her name is back out there big again.

Fame is too much for young people to handle. They think they are all powerful and loose perspective on what's real. It's too bad Miley's parents didn't step in and keep her life real a long time ago. Now she is the one who will pay the big price.

I didn't actually see her performance; however, I've seen photos of her making a fool of herself.  I think she's desperate for attention and desperately trying to hang on to her fame.  I don't even see her as "sexy" like she's trying to be.  What a joke!

I am surprise to hear all the just Miley negative comments. Thicke as a Grown man had a part and stance to say I would not do this performance because he would not want a daughter of his to be portrayed like this. Yeah Miley has a dad, but omg Thicke should have shut this down.
