goodbye summer; hello fall

My favorite season comes to an end. Fall is in. I am not a big fan of fall. I rake too many leaves in front and in the back of my house. It's too much work.

Texas is still in summer mode! Our temps are still in the 90s. My place did get a shower of hard rain, about an inch, but nothing like Colorado. Our lakes are in drought condition, some of them down more that 12ft. I am looking forward to those cooler days of fall. I am glad I don't have a bunch of leaves to rake. I don't have that many big trees.

We went from mid 90's over the weekend to chilly and flooding here in Colorado all week.

I am sure glad that summer is out and fall is on the way! This summer and been wet and hot!!

Fall is my favorite season and I miss having a 'real' fall.  Where I live we're looking forward to more heat - probably through the end of October.  I miss everything about Autumn back home - including the subtle change in the light and the brisk breezes that come up and shake all those gorgeous leaves off of the trees and into our yards.

  I am happy to say goodbye summer weather and welcome in the fall weather!!! I hate the days of the heat and humid summer weather

I personally prefer fall cause the weather finally calms down and I get to wear the types of clothes that normal people wear without being really hot the entire time.  Getting to slip into a pair of jeans and sweatshirt is a luxury for me since I'm constantly overheating, so this is one of the few times of the year when I am comfortable.

Fall is my favorite season!!!! It's nice and cool and yet sunny and warm enough during the day. It makes me feel great and want to do all kinds of outdoor activities. The colors of fall are beautiful. It's just the perfect season.!!!!!!!!!
