I fi had to do it again i too would rescue a dog.  I was a bit little when i bought my dog, and i picked him bacause he was soft.  LOL  Leave it to a child to pick with their eyes, and not a heart!

I don't have a dog myself, but I am very fond of my friend's dog. She is the most joyful creature I've ever seen. She never fails to lift my spirits.

We have a black lab Lucci.  She is such a good dog.  She is now 9 and she follows my 4 year old son everywhere.

I have a medium-sized dog, a sheltie, but my boyfriend has a huge border collie.
he likes big dogs, I like small dogs.
he's training to be a vet.
but I used to be terrified of big dogs, till his.
I like his dog, DJ, but I'm still kind of scared of big dogs in general.

Thats so great you got him through adoption. I got both my cats that way. I would have adopted dogs along with the cats but apartment wont let me

i love dogs but i'm not committed to being a pet-owner....so i pet sit now and then and get to have a friend for a week or two and then get to give them back and carry on with the freedom of my lazy come and go as i please schedule.....

I love dogs.  I have 5 dogs.  I have a shepherd/chow mix who has degenerative myleopathy.  That means she cannot walk.  Her name is Sadie and she has a doggie wheelchair.  It is really cool!  I also have a lab/shepherd mix named Ginger, a chow mix named Melanie, a rat terrier named Flip, and a black lab named Johnny.  My husband and I do not have any kids but they fill in quite nicely!
