I hear you!  I have said a prayer even before writing.  But also, the medical profession has advanced so enormously in the last decades, sometimes I am absolutely astonished at what these surgeons and medical professionals are capable of. And it's only going to get better. Amen

thank you all so so much! they ended up going in to his chest a total of 4 times..but the past 2 days he has done really well so today they decided to close his chest. his heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen are all great but its going  to be a long road

Definitely will pray.  Believe that prayer changes things.  Will not only pray for the baby but for peace, strength and comfort for you guys too because this is hard on everyone in the family.  Stay strong.
