Movies that haven't stood up to there hype...

Well I don't know how many people watched the last terminator film but I could never get into it. I think it was Terminator Salvation. I still do not know what happened.

I agree with your assessment.  The main character was not very likable or memorable.  I was disappointed all the way around with that movie.

yeah - Titanic - almost blasphemy, huh?  lol
I enjoyed the early part - the historic references, the beautiful setting, the love story but what really wrecked it for me was the never-ever-ending sinking scene.  It just went on forever until I felt they were squeezing every drop they could out of it.  Really - I whispered to my husband - just let the frickin' ship sink already.
When I went into the ladies room after - here were all these women crying and I was just shaking my head.  Mind you - I'm usually a sucker for sad endings but not this time.

The most recent one that I thought was truly a horrible effort was 'After Earth'. Considering everything that it could have been I think it was a total waste. I still cannot believe that they actually released this disaster.
