What I Found

My husband and I were walking to go and pick our car up from the shop. Along the way we saw a lot of pennies on the ground, as if someone had just dumped them out. My husband wasn't going to pick them up. I said to him "Are you serious?" I bent down on the ground and picked them up and put them in my pants pocket. Eventually, my husband started picking them up too. I didn't care who was watching. My pocket was so fat. After we picked the car up and I got home, I couldn't wait to count them. There was a total of 295 ($2.95) in pennies. That was a nice boost to our coin collection as we had just cashed in our other ones. Now we are back up to $4.42 thanks in part to those pennies. So, what would you do if you saw a lot of pennies on the ground? Would you walk past them or pick them up?

wow thats very rare that you find many pennies in one place and yes i would of done the same thing cause pennies add up

Congrats on your good fortune.I'll stop and pick up one penny.There is no way I would walk past 295 of them without stuffing my pockets.

I pick up all money I find including pennies unless they are really beat up and dirty.

There is no telling what you will find while you are walking. I save all my change and I will pick up any loose change I happen to come across. It all adds up. The more you pick up the more you have.

wow that's a great find.  Yes I would stop and pick them up. I have a jar that I put all my loose change in.  Every penny counts...just like FC.

That was great, I would have pick them up too, they do add up to the piggy bank.  We have one were we put all the change we have and it has save us from been broke a few times.  When we are really low in $$ and pay check still is like a week away, need food we break the bank and we have gotten out of it maybe $75 to$100.  It has been a bug saver.

I would have done exactly what you did. I'm not too proud to pick up pennies. Every little bit helps. I thinkl my husband would have reacted about the same as yours though.

I'm not sure if my pockets are big enough to handle it, but I'd pick up as many as I could... if I could. I don't ever carry a bag and I don't drive so it would be difficult. If I'm going somewhere important of course, I'd have to leave them right where they are though.

Every Time I See Pennies On the Ground I Pick Them Up . I Found $1.10 In The Vending Machine At Work The Other Day.
