Stamps.com Offer
« on: November 25, 2013, 11:08:35 pm »
Was doing some research on the Stamps.con offer in anticpation of completing the offer soon and found out some information that makes the offer not worth it to me.

What:  Stamps.com offer is through Trial Pay offers on Fusion cash and has a reward of $6.00

Why not:  I have read reviews that others have had difficulty canecelling AND they sent you a scale that you must return in good condition to avoid charges, and since they send you these scale I aslo think they put a higher authoizatio on your account.

I am going to have to pass on compleing this offer.

Interesting.. Thanks for passing along this info.  I thought about checking it out but wasn't so sure how much I would use it.

My experience for what it might be worth.  I didn't do the offer thru Fusion Cash but I did do a trial of Stamps.com thru an ad they had on the net.  There was like a $5 credit and the scale (it weighs items less than 5#) I got was a free gift to keep.  I had no issue with cancelling (not half as hard as cancelling a credit card!) ,  I did do it over the phone and they did keep trying to make me a "good deal" to stay.  At the time I did this Ebay was revamping their shipping and there was no Parcel Post/select option to ship packages and thru the USPS website they dont offer that either they tell you have to go to the post office to buy the postage.  So it worked great for me to ship till Ebay got their shipping back up and running.

So at the holiday time when you might be mailing/shipping a lot it might be worth considering looking in to further.

I signed up for this offer a couple years ago and I was never sent a scale.  It was easy and I cancelled it after I received credit from FC.  It's changed since i did it!

I think you have to need it to take the offer and it be worth your time.  It can save a lot of  money in gas alone. Mailman picks up all delivers and you never have to leave home.  God Bless

I just recenly on my other site where I do most trial offers had to go through some extra work to get some charges reversed from companies charging me after I cancelled so I am a little gun shy at the moment for signing up for any questionable offers.

One thing to also remember -- I signed up for one of the credit score check offers but it did not go because I had apparently did it in the past, but somewho they decided to charge my bank account anyway -- I did get the charge reversed and have never paid a charge for any offer as of yet but all the extra work and calls and stress can be enough for a while anyway.

I was with stamps.com a while back. But I cancelled the service. I did this offer when I first signed up for Project Payday since they require everyone to complete an offer from Trial pay or paying an enrollment fee to participate in the program. Thank god I cancelled the trial offer before it expired.

I completed this offer a couple years ago and it was easy and not stressful at all.  Looks like they've changed it quite a bit since then!

I am assuming this offer requires a CC. It seems like a good valuable offer considering the payout amount.

I wondered about this offer, but after hearing what you said, it doesn't seem worth the $6.

I never knew about that. I did consider doing that offer someday, but you just changed my mind.

I never do any offers that require my credit card or really personal info, I don't trust myself to cancel or the companies to let me, I do the safe offers in my opinion
