Yep. To be competitive in this world, you need that diploma. Look at the unemployment rate of those without a degree vs. those without. There's a big difference. Study hard and get that degree, it's the best investment you'll make.

Math is not an easy subject; it was one subject that I really had to spend extra time studying to get a decent grade. I am sorry to hear that you did not pass your final but please do not give up; review the material and see if there is an opportunity to try again. Happy belated birthday!

I'm sorry to hear that. Math is a very difficult subject for many people. Maybe you should see if you can get a mentor to help you study your math. It might make a difference since you sound like you take your studies seriously. Good Luck!!

ask what needs to be done to fix the problem only if you decide you want to fix it.  Maybe your path lies in a different direction than what you initially though you wanted...might be road sign to turn

Shame they don't offer an essay-section, where you can explain the principles they're wanting you to learn (and just bother with the actual problems in homework etc.)

Sorry. keep trying. I am a little less impressed with college than I used to be. Unless you are going for some sort of medical degree or law, or some sort of really high paying job that is available, I don't think it is any easier to get a job no a days.

I agree with this too even though I have barely gotten in. My sister went to college and got her BS but no job... Shes been home and working with the company she worked for during highschool..

That's how education ought to work. Or--even better--you should have your employer choose (& pay for) your education ... sort of 'buying your destiny.'
