I always got the shot and a few years ago I decided I didn't need to get it anymore, so I stopped.  Two years later I got the flu.  I was never so sick in my life, after that experience I have got the shot each year and will always get it.

I never get the flu shot.  I get the flu once every 5 years or so.  I'm fortunate.  My mother, who is 92, gets one every year, but it usually make her sick for a day....even though they say you can get flu symptoms from the shot.

I usually always get it because I have COPD and they recommend it. It has never made me sick.

My doctor opposes this, but I never get the flu shot for myself or my kids.  The one year I let the school give it my daughter caught it anyway.  I just give them a half teaspoon of cold medicine before leaving the house and make sure they always have their personal bottles of hand sanitizer now in order to safeguard their health.

I never know what to do about that.   My kids get them every year but I never know if it is the right thing to do.

Sherry,
I have a very sensitive system.  I have had adverse reactions to medications in the past.  For that reason, I am not getting a flu shot.

Not-to-Get!! Definitely NOT. TO. GET. That stuff is bad news. It doesn't even protect you from the flu, the flu virus changes year to year and all the flu shots are is a bunch of strains that they GUESS are going to show up that year. Lots of people get sick and some even die after getting these toxic injections. I don't get the flu shot, and I don't get the flu. You are actually better off contracting the flu than getting the so-called vaccine.

And why do the 'medical experts' recommend we get this vaccine?  The drug companies that make the vaccines pay them millions to recommend it.  The doctors make a ton of money to recommend it and the drug companies make absurd amounts off of it.  It has nothing to do with what is good for us.

I got my flu shot this year and last year and I have had the flu so I guess it works. I don't know what else to say I think it's a good idea especially if you're over 65 or under 10 years of age.! And those between the ages I would recommend it to them to because they have kids that they want to give the flu to all the around other people they will not get the flu from: gave Two!!

Every time I have ever gotten a flu shot I have always gotten the flu. The only reason I was getting one was because
my doctor told me to get one because I have allergies to pollen and mold.

Not getting Vaccinated for the flu virus.  Sometimes I think the medical profession start a lot of rumors that aren't true.  I don't like needles so why get a flu shot that could possibly kill you as it did last year.

My husband gets the shot every year but I don't.  He seems to get sick with the flu each year and I do not.  I just heard about a bad strain of flu going around that the flu shot does not protect against.  It wasn't one of the strains that they had predicted would hit.
Have a wonderful day!
