It's not just 'something they say,' but in this case the Church-of-Christ (in one of their ad/articles) quotes the Bible as saying that 'you cannot eat if you do not work.'

(I'm kinda hoping that it's semi-sarcastic--one of those things that 'we say NOW in our unenlightened state'--and that the epistles go on to say that--once you've done 'enough' work--your food-&-drink flow to you like a river.)

Maybe I'm thinking of those who CAN'T work (whether physically handicapped--like I WAS--or mentally handicapped--no comment--or behaviorally handicapped---which I WAS, as I felt that the world 'owed' me some fun that I didn't think was harming anyone; and might not be now, but people are too scared to try me out again  :confused1: )

We non-workers are relying purely on love, while workers attract their wages with 'the pride of working-hours submitted.' I thought 'pride in the works of one's hands' was a sin! What's up with that?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------That's what a Pharisee might say today. You now have the chance to respond as my mentor Jesus-of-Joseph would, and I pray that you will!
