I don't eat Mexican food but I have tried Taco Bell a time or two and I did like their tacos.

Authentic - the chicken and beef are so tasty and I love the rice and beans, usually with some melted cheese on top

In Fresno we have a place called "Sal's Mexican Restaurant."  They are to die for.  I like Taco Bell as well though.

I'd have to pick authentic Mexican food over Taco Bell. However, I do settle for Taco Bell every now and then.

I like Taco Bell ok for Mexican fast food.  I prefer Casa Del Rey.

I ate authentic Mexican food when I drove my sister-in-law to her retirement home in the middle of Mexico.
Authentic Mexican food is a lot different than American Mexican food.

tough call for me too....and great question.  taco bell is amazing fast food...and sitting down for a lovely authentic meal makes for a great evening.  I going to go with all Mexican food rules.  I had chili con queso this evening...and I love beans and rice.  have a great day.

We thought we would try our kids out on Taco Bell before real Mexican food. We figured the quality of the food will always be the same, in effect they are making recommendations by putting meals together. So far, our children love it. Especially the Doritos Taco Locos. Eventually we will progress onto real Mexican but at the moment, they are too young. I suspect they would turn their nose up and real salsa verde and black beans but in time, I'm sure they will.

i dunno some "authentic" mexican food is nasty. I am in between taco bell and authentic where it comes out to be something like a chipotle burrito.

I have not eaten at Taco Bell in a while.  I frequented the establishment for their gorditas.  I really am up in the air on this one, because the last time I ate authentic Mexican food, I had a tostada bowl when I lived in Paramount, CA.  It was really good.    :rainbow: :rainbow:

I don't know why but taco bell just tastes so much better to me. My boyfriend loves mexican restaurants and I always make him go to taco bell when we are craving mexican food ^^ he thinks taco bell is okay but prefers authentic.
