Jesus Tells Me Why to Stay Away from Funerals

Lord Jesus says that we are the salt of the earth & -that once salt loses its savour that salt is to be cast down & serve as sidewalk-pavement.

So 'funerals' are gatherings in the name of dead salt. Even if it's termed a "memorial service" and heaps of attention are paid to 'remembering the former soul's past life,' it's still giving praise to 'something that IS NOT God' (though God may have been involved in the former soul's actions AT THE TIME, God IS NOT THERE NOW ... His name is translated 'I am as I am' or 'I will be as I will be,' NOT 'I was as it were' or 'I had been as I used`ta`could' 

Jesus also reminds us to let the dead bury the dead. Having been dead, I'm pretty sure that now I am not. And I'm not anxious to act like I am dead anytime soon (which is why I have trouble sleeping).
