It is so cold here!!!!!!!!!

It's 19 degrees here, wind chill 9 with a high expected tomorrow of 21 degrees.

We were in the single digits this morning and will be again tomorrow, they have cancelled school here because of the weather....we were getting a few snow flurries but they stopped.....

Its is cold here too. No snow, but my pipes froze and I have had no water since yesterday. Temps are supposed to go back above freezing and stay there. I pray I don't have a mess when things thaw out! Stay bundled up and warm.

I am in West Point, MS and right now it is 10 degrees (above, not below zero).  Sunday night, I let the water drip as I always have, and my kitchen sink water is frozen as of yesterday and have not thawed out yet.  School resumes today for the children, and I personally think that the school should be closed.  If it weren't for the fact that the water in the bathroom is still working, we would be in the middle of a real tragedy, so I am thankful for that.  When I went to bed last night, it was 14 degrees.  I will be glad when this polar vortex is over.  My husband had to go outside to renail plastic up to the kitchen window, and he had to stand over the heater because he said his face became numb.  His description of the weather was that it was "cold enough to hurt your face".  My grandson went out briefly and said that it was so cold his face hurt.  Generally, the weather here is nice, but this really bites!

It is VERY cold here.  Yesterday the Governor had the whole STATE have the Schools closed due to the extreme cold and extreme wind chills.

Today, schools are two hours late.  Current temperature is only -7.

Where is all the global warming when we need it??? I hate these extreme cold temperatures. I worry about my outdoor animals. I hate going out side myself and I'm usually an outdoor person. They say by Friday we will be back to normal temperatures.  It can't happen soon enough for me!!

Brutally Cold! 2nd day School is cancelled, after 2 weeks winter break. Kids Love it. LOL/

I am from ND and it was a high of -20 the other day, by this weekend above 30 so that will feel like a big change

Yesterday we got up to a high of -16 with a wind chill of -40s. Today we're doing a little better; should only be a high of negative single digits... The governor of MN had closed all schools across the state yesterday because of the cold, and today most all of the schools in the area are closed again. I love it, however, that even though it's too cold for our poor children to be outside waiting for a bus, I saw a bunch of kids playing in the snow when I was driving home last night...

It was -4° when I came to work this morning.  With the wind chill it was -24°.  My car sure did moan this morning while I was starting it.
