I heat with the outside wood heater, my house is to  close to the ground for it to heat my hot water, pipes on the wrong side of the house and we love.

:) We have central heat and air. Gas heat and electric cool. Also a big fireplace for romantic evenings and winter holidays when the kids are home.  :)

I live in an apartment so the the landlord supplies the heat by way of steam water through the pipes.

We have an lp gas furnace. We supplement that with a forced air heater if it is really cold.

We used to have a hot air furnace and used kerosene because it was cleaner. When the price went above $1 a gallon, we bought a coal and wood stove and used that for a few years. It did a great job, heating all 1500 square feet.  Last year we bought a used Central Boiler outdoor wood furnace and that's all we use now, except when the temps go to 0, then we use the c&w stove temporarily. Hubby hasn't finished putting all the radiators in so half the house, the north side, has no heat yet (including my office), so I have 2 small electric heaters that I use once in a while.

In our old 24x32 house, we had a Fisher wood stove that was our only source of heat. It worked too well even when hubby took the windows out to put in the new place and covered the window holes with triple plastic. LOL (Yeah, he's a hillbilly.)

Our home is heated with electric forced heat and since it doesn't last very long I guess it's a good thing we live in a climate that doesn't need extra warmth!!!

A central heating and on occasion a portable small heater. I am still using them intensely and seeing the electricity bill constantly rise.
