I used to dye my hair just to cover all the grays but there are so many now that there just doesn't seem to be a point to have to constantly dye it to keep roots from showing. Thus I don't dye it anymore.

I use to color my hair when it started getting grey in my 40's.  But when I got 62 or 63 I quit putting color on it.  I did not know I had that much grey till I stopped.  Now I am grey all over and I am 72 years old.  But it looks pretty grey.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

The chemicals are really harsh on the hair that's why I try to do it only twice a year.
For those that want to cover gray, why not  try wearing a wig? If you have lots of gray, too many to dye,
wigs are always an option. They come in different colors, lengths, and styles. I'm considering wigs,
just to try something new. I like to switch my look up every now and then.

i used to when i was younger just to change up my look however the other day i was doing my hair and had an omg moment where i noticed that i had around 30 or 40 hairs on my head that were grey wtf im only 30.  I guess what they say is true that your kids cause them because my son just turned 14 months old up until this point i had never had a single grey hair.  so now its bring on the hair dye and i get to be a blond a brunette or anything i want to be.  thinking about going with some pink highlights just because it looks really fun.

I used to dye my hair but it became such a pain to keep up with it and when I didn't want to dye it anymore I couldn't get it back to my natural color.

I've had the same issue in my hair life.  When I was younger I went blonde, then tried to get back to my natural hair, naturally, but could never do it.   I kept having hair color weaved into the hair to get the natural hair to grow out, while having a job requiring natural hair coloring.   I have been dying it ever since.    I figure when I get too many grays, I'll start getting it dyed lighter so the grey roots don't show so much.

;D I do not dye by hair. I am almost grey now. I do not conform to what society says I must look like. Dying hair is not healthy for me. My hair is very thin.

My hair is so dark dark brown (almost black) that I cannot dye it unless I go to a professional.
