I agree with you completely. It is called diet, not fasting. Eating small portions and drinking a lot of water is the very key to shedding those pounds and don't forget to always have a positive attitude and get enough 7-8 hours of sleep everyday!

If I have a diet that's too restricted it just ends up failing.  I'm trying to have a healthy balance so that I can still enjoy what I eat.
