Vampire Diaries VS. The Originals

Which one is better? I personally think the originals is a better show. I feel like vampire diaries is just running out of things to come up with. so much has happened and i cant keep up. its kinda annoying that they keep making more. even though i love the show, maybe its just enough. But i love the originals. all the way. Its so interesting. i love the plot.
