I believe mustard is healthier. Where would hot dogs be without it?

Besides, ketchup has sugar in it and my younger son detests it.

I'm not sure if any are healthy for you. But I know the ketchup is made of tomatoes and tomatoes have likapene in them and likapene fights cancer. So I would think that it would be ketchup, I mean I like the taste better then mustard.

Which of the two is healthier? mustard or ketchup?

I'll vote for ketchup, making it 4 for ketchup & 7 for mustard!

But I'm looking `em both up!

Well, Ketchup came up first in a search for "mustard, ketchup, health (one point, ketchup), going on to say

Quote
Ketchup has moderate health benefits. Ketchup is a source of lycopene, an antioxidant which may help prevent some forms of cancer. This is particularly true of the organic brands of ketchup, which have three times as much lycopene. Ketchup, much like marinara sauce and other cooked tomato foods, yields higher levels of lycopene per serving because cooking increases lycopene bioavailability.

In May 2010, Hunt's stopped using high fructose corn syrup in its ketchup products because of consumer complaints.

A search for "mustard, health" wasn't so bright, as the plant is famously used for a poison-gas.

I'm not sure which one is healthier - mustard or ketchup.  However, I prefer the taste of ketchup and I use ketchup on lots of my foods.
