How do you use your avocados?

Right now I only put them in smoothies.  But they are real good for us and I am searching for more ways to get it in my diet.

I use avocados sliced in a salad or as guacamole.

I eat the same way.  I think that only the best so far that I've try some of other way to prepare alvacado.

I've only recently started to eat them, so I haven't done anything fancy with them.  I've had guacamole and I've put them on sandwiches.  At first I wasn't sure about them, but they've grown on me.

My favorite is to slice one in half and pour on some salt and pepper, then grab a spoon and dig in.

I Laughed when I read this.  It just struck me funny.  I got a flash of throwing Avacados at walls....or something.  I use my avacados in salads, as quacamole, chopped in burritos and sliced on sandwiches.  Never thought about using them in muffins or baking them. Hmm.

I just use avocados for quacomole dip with tomatoes and salt and cilantro it is always very very good!

The only time I use avacados is when I  have guac, but I would like to try adding it to my smoothies.

I will mainly use avocado to be included in my salad, but will on occasion use this as a possible option for chip dip. I rotate between using whole avocados to store bought packaged options.

Mostly for guacamole...when I remember I still have them in the fridge and they're about to spoil.

It's funny, I never liked avocado's either; as far as guacamole goes.  I was surprised that I've liked it as an ingredient.

The cornbread muffins are as follows
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup cornmeal
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 eggs, lightly beaten
¼ cup whole milk
1 large ripe avocado, peeled, pitted, mashed

Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 12-muffin tray.

2) Sift together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk in eggs and milk until smooth. Add avocado and mix until just smooth.

3) Pour mixture into prepared muffin tray. Bake until tops turn golden, about 25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in tray; remove to wire rack to cool completely.

I don't know any other ways to make avocado except smashed them into guacamole(spelling), but your recipe for corn bread sounds great. Thanks for sharing

I use avocados in smoothies, and also in baking so that I can use less oil/butter.

I like to make guacamole with my avocadoes or I put them in my tacos.
