My 21 year old niece just got her 20th tattoo.  She has them on her arms, legs, back, and now on her chest.  How many do you think is enough?  I'm afraid as she gets older she will regret the decision to have so many and having really large ones.

That sounds like a lot at suck a young age. I don't mind tattoos even want one or two myself someday but not that many.

That's many already, she might regret it when she aged. One or two is enough for a young woman in my decision but it depends if what jobs she got.

Tattoos  are really popular right now. I don't see the draw of permanently marking my body but then I'm not of this generation. My nieces both have tattoos. They are not huge but they love them. I can see one tiny one somewhere I guess but the trend seems to be huge ones all over your body. I guess it's all a matter of perspective.

I don't really like tattoos. They will fade and stretch and move over time. You will be stuck with them for life, so if you decide to mark yourself up, think about what you will look like 20 years from now. Besides, is it really attractive for job hunting?

I like a nice tattoo as well as the next person, BUT, I think she will regret it too when she grows up.  I almost got a tattoo once. However, the anticipated pain of the process held me back.

That's a lot more than I would get, but it's her body, and her choice. She may regret the decision when she's older, and she may not, but it was her choice in the first place, and is something she has to live with.

She is very young to have that many but there is nothing you can do about it.
I have one tattoo which I got when I turned 30.
Everyone said, you will get more, but I have not.
I think its an addiction for some.

Tattoos are a fashion item.  My daughter has 5 tattoos, and I think that is enough.  Twenty tattoos are a little excessive.  What do you say to the fellow who has his whole body tattooed?  I think that is overkill.   :rainbow:

The number of tattoos seems a bit extreme.  Someday, she might regret having so many.  Maybe she'll choose to get some of them removed.  It seems like she is a bit fanatical about it now.  The goods news is that it's her choice and someday if she has regrets.....

the regrets will be hers, as well.
Have a great day!

I think tattoos are very tacky.  Against my better wishes (and my knowing), my daughter got a tattoo on the top of each of her feet.  I always want to rub them off.
Have a wonderful day!
