I have a couple huge bags to shed. I wish I could burn them but I don't have a fireplace or grill. I just spend about 15 minutes a day doing it. It actually has become a stress releiver! :peace:

I too tear off personal information to shred and put the rest in the recycling bin. I always seem to have a stack of things to shred. It's a never-ending process!

Gosh yes, I have tons and tons of paper work. I don't have a shredder so I rip up everything. I am very paranoid about my personal info and identify thief so I should probably invest in a shredder. It is time consuming ripping everything by hand.

I used to staple pages that went together until I started shredding them and had to tear or cut off the stapled corners to protect the shredder blades.  That was more of a pain in the neck than the actual shredding.

I shred some every week. Anything that has my name and or account on that I don't need. Never builds up that way. I also pay all my bills as soon as they come in, all the junk that come in them  that does not have my name on it goes into the fireplace. Or if it some junk mail that comes in, like ads for credit cards I tear my name off and send it back to them in their stamped envelope. Helps the post office out..

I need to get a shredder.  I have a lot of unnecessary papers I can get rid of.  I have taken black markers and crossed through any important information that people use to steal my identity.  I bought a pair of shredding scissors but I don't use them because I got a blister when I tried to cut up paper.  I plan to save up enough money to get myself a shredder as well as a printer.   :rainbow:

I have gotten rid of a good amount of old documents that I no longer need. I don't use a shredder. I actually ripped all those documents. I do have more to do, but a little at a time.

Where have we come in the world when we have to consider shredding personal documents so that others do not get access to our data. I shred everything in my house, right down to envelopes with my address on and prescription labels which have my name on. If my Dad were alive today he would wonder what on earth happened to society that makes us so worried about our details getting into the wrong hands that we have to shred everything that makes us identifiable.

I don't have to much documents since most of them are electronically... I have college papers I don't need and I usually clean them out when the semester ends.. The only thing I worry about ripping apart is the address tag of the mail and amazon packages

Always!  Sounds like a good way to tackle it.

We burn them, since we heat with wood. We need all the kindling we can get!

I can usually stay caught up on my shredding.I shred my junk mail every day and my bills as soon as I pay them online. The only time I get behind on it is at tax time, but it doesn't take long to catch up.

I don't have a shredder, so I have to use scissors. I've started burning the documents after tearing them into small pieces.

I hate shredding stuff too.  My shredder just died so I have a pile building back up!

I try to shred the same day I receive anything worth shredding. Or else I shred whatever I have on the weekend.
