I too have to take shots and it is still not enough. Can't use the meds. Cover up as much as I can in the sunlight. As I get a rash from it. Use Lots and Lots of sun protection. Still will break out some. So most of what I do is early in the morning or like I said cover up.

Stay indoor on high pollen count days and take allergy meds.

It must be frustrating to have allergies that are aggravated by the sun. Is it a problem when it's a cloudy day???

In the South, there is ALWAYS pollen. It is so frustrating.

Tell me about. I don't know how many different times people are telling me what a nice day it is and I am hiding in the
house trying to stay away from the pollen and everything else out there. >:(

EXACTLY my point! I feel your pain. I hate how my husband keeps asking if I want to go fishing. Yes, I do. Can you unpollen the universe? Sheesh...

I feel you so much right now, I've been waiting on the winter days to end, and the sun has finally come out of hiding but these seasonal allergies just ruin it for me. Lucky for me im a college student in the midst of midterms so I don't even remember what outside looks like :)

Mine tend to cycle from year to year - some years are worse than others.  I'm already starting to feel my allergies creeping up on me already - not a good sign for this year.  Fortunately certain over the counter medicines work for me.  On bad days, I stay in with the windows closed and air purifier running.  Not so bad days, I'll try to tough it out or take a Sudafed to keep me clear - like when I need to do yard work.

At least mine subsides once the leaves are on the trees, at least until Fall...

My poor son gets terribly allergies. He's only seven. The other day he was playing in the garden with his older brother, they were teaching themselves football skills. My older son tackled my younger son and he came up in hives all over his legs and arms. He could not stop itching. Then at the weekend he had a head ache and a nose bleed - he had spent the whole day in the sunshine and it was a breezy day. The weather later that night reported that the pollens were off the chart. Plus when he's been out playing in the dust, he comes in wheezing and we have to get his inhaler out. Poor boy!

I have pretty bad allergies. Sometimes I can take some meds and get through it okay and other times I just have to not go outside.
