Captain america 2 review (spoilers)
« on: May 02, 2014, 11:00:49 pm »
I thought this movie was fantastic. Even better since my expectations were low because the first one was not so great. This one was a home run. I have even heard some people say it was better then the avengers. Now I wouldnt go that far. The avengers is still my favorite movie of all time. But this movie was so good. All the carefully placed easter eggs just made it that much better.

Anyone catch the stephen strange name drop? that was a great moment. And when the winter soldier caught the shield he paused for a second and posed with the shield. Is this foreshadowing of whats to come? in the comics, the winter soldier takes over Rodgers place as captain america after he dies.

Chris evens is signed to a 6 picture deal with marvel lets do some counting:

1:Captain america: the first avenger
2:the avengers
3:Captain america: the winter soldier
4:The avengers: the age of ultron
5:Captain america 3
6:The avengers 3

All of those are confirmed. And Chris has stated that he wants to retire from acting and take up directing. Will he renew his contract? And with the avengers battling thanos in the avengers 3, he is bound to kill at least one avenger. So who will it be? The logical choice would be tony stark because robert downey Jr. Is done after avengers 3 period. But I think they might do some cool plot twist that lets someone else take the wheel with the charicter, or maybe they will both die, who knows. But a curious thing is that the actor that plays bucky, is signed to a 9 picture deal, with captain america 2 only being his second film. Sounds like they got some bigger plans for him.

Let me know what you think about all this, and maybe some other easter eggs that you spotted.

Well, there's a first time for every thing. :D

They've already gone on record saying they will recast as needed.(They already recasted two big heroes in Rhodey & Banner) So I doubt they will kill off some of their biggest characters once the current contracts run out.

i think they will because it would make thanos look like a little b if he doesnt kill someone. and i think bucky will become the new captain america. not sure what way they will go with ironman yet
