We took our kids there on vacation when they were young. I am sure it has gotten much better since then, we had fun.

Awww so sorry about you not being able to go on the rides - I am not much for roller coasters but like other less "wild" rides.  Bush Gardens is a great place to visit.  I am a FL girl so I love Bush Gardens, Disney, Sea World....... but haven't been to any of them in years.  Well have a wonderful time!

How did it go? :) I've been seeing a ton of ads on TV for Busch Gardens! This always happens in the spring/summer and I always get a childlike burst of excitement, but I've never been. Here the big thing is Kings Dominion. I hope you enjoyed yourselves! :star:

Have a wonderful time enjoying the kids having a wonderful time!  I love Busch Gardens!  We went to the one in VA when my daughter was young.  It was so beautiful.  My daughter enjoyed the rides and my husband enjoyed the beer!
Have a wonderful day!

I've been both to the one in Williamsburg, VA as well as Tampa, FL when I was a kid; we had relatives in both of those states, so it was an easy decision for my parents to take a day on the trip to visit those amusement parks. The best time that I've ever had at an amusement park was when we went to the one in Tampa... It had been raining off and on all day, so the crowd was very small that day and I hardly ever had to wait in line -- sometimes the ride operator would ask us when the ride was over whether we just wanted to stay on for another trip. Furthermore, the temperature was still hot, so the rain was actually a relief.
