Please help me to understand?
« on: May 18, 2014, 05:13:20 am »
Without going into detail. I have lived my whole life trying to be THE best person I could be. If you are my TRUE friend I would bend over backwards for you to make you happy. I love to help people when help is needed and I'd be there for ANYONE who needs help!!....BUT I know people who are so fake as fake can get, who are manipulative, liars, cheats and would stab you in the back if they could get away with it. YET life is good to them UGH....For this all to make any kind of sense. My son and his gal broke up. They have a 2 year old together. She was cheating on my son while he was working his butt off trying to make a good living for his family. (hence the breakup)....I hear that she is having a grand ole time with her new victim (reasons why I call him that)  my son went for visitation rights and this *bleep* told the courts that I am not allowed to see my Granddaughter because she (ex) has issues with me. unfortunately my son has no say because she is the custodial parent...WHY is it that the GOOD people have to suffer and this *bleep* is going on her merry way????????????????????...Thank you to all who can help me know WHY!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no idea how to answer you.  Unfortunately thus has probably happened to most of us one time or another.  There are some people who always luck out time and time again.  I know it's not fair, and I hate the expression "life's not fair", but in reality I guess that's the answer, it's not fair!

Ever heard of something called "Law of karma"??
Everyone had to go through this law at one point of time in life, there is no escape. Try reading more about that Google it. I am sure you will find answers why good people always suffer and cunning one are merrier

There is indeed such things as Grandparents' Rights.   Run an internet search & find out your rights, & then exert your rights.

There is no such karma that rewards you for good deeds, or punishes you for being evil; only coincidences.

Yes, I would fight to see my grandchildren. It is too bad she (the ex) is like that but as someone said in an earlier post KARMA. It WILL get her someday. Hopefully you will get to see it and get some satisfaction! As they say, what goes around, comes around.

I'm sorry that you have to go through this. My sister is one of those manipulative people and life seems to always give her the benefit of the doubt. It angers and frustrates me so much sometimes. She wants the baby daddy to pay child support and doesn't want him seeing his son. Why is the mother the only custodial parent? Is your son not on the birth certificate? Also, you can take her to court for visitation rights as well. If you and your grandchild have a good relationship, I don't see why the court won't grant you visitation. The judge is there for the sole interest in what's best for the child. Your relationship with his mother should have no effect on the matter. I hope thing work out for you.

Hi Wendy, yes my son is on the birth certificate, but since they broke up he came back here to live temporarily. One would have to know this girl to actually understand what I am saying. It was maybe 6 months into their relationship I knew that this girl was trouble. She and I butt heads many times over different things and she hates the fact that I voice my opinion about ANYTHING....her poor mother is afraid of her because when her mother speaks up to her about things the (ex's ) words to her mother is "Ma ENOUGH"....well she isn't going to stifle me and I keep going and going with what I have to say and she HATES that....Oh she thinks the world revolves around her but not with me!!!! with all that said this is her way of "punishing" me. When my son went for visitation she had voiced to the judge that she doesn't want me anywhere near my Granddaughter and for some reason the judge made that ruling....but I will fight this in time!!...thank you!

Your son being on the birth certificate is a good start. He has every right to the child. I would fight the ruling the judge made against you. Who know's what the mother said about you to the judge. She could have painted you as an abusive grandmother and that's what the judge is going on. I'd look into the laws where your grandchild lives and see about getting an attorney. Just because you and the mother doesn't get along, the child shouldn't be punished by not being allowed to see you.

Wendy I am so sure that she made up SOMETHING about me and it wouldn't be the first time that she has done that. I caught her in more lies. Even her 10 year old son from someone else has told me that his mother lies allot. BUT her day will come, I hope anyways...it just frustrates me so much how EVIL people can get away with things and good people have to suffer!!

That's one good reason I stay single, I have enough of my own problems trying to survive in this messed up world, I don't need to shoulder anyone else's problems, I'm too old for the BS of relationships. If you can find a great person to be with that is wonderful, and they are out there, good luck. Better chance of winning the lottery and cost you less to try  :)
