If you're really close to all the people at that church, then continue. But for worship, you can easily do that at home, all you need is a bible.

i too think if this is your church family and you feel love and support there stay --but if not test out some other churches closer to you --God will lead or keep you where you belong if you just ask him

I think there are many things to consider.  Everyone is different.  Applying my own situation here if it were me I would try and find something closer that fit my beliefs.  I simply couldn't afford the fuel for making a trip that far each week.  Also as I and my kids like to get involved we wouldn't be able to because of the distance.  I have friends that "visit" our church.  But there church home is closer to there dwellings.  Good luck!

If your church teaches God's word then I would stay. Unfortunately, most churches today just want to sing and pass the plate.

The choice is up to you.  I would continue.  My church has three different services, and they begin at 8 am.  That is the morning service for those people who work and want to have some worship service.  My hubby goes to that service, comes and picks up my grandson and me for Sunday School at 10 am, and all of us stay for the 11 am service, which lasts about two hours to two hours and a half.  I am also the Finance Secretary and my hubby is the maintenance man as well as the church's trustee.  I prefer to go to church because I decided to do that when I rededicated myself to the church.   :rainbow: :rose:

There are obviously a number of good reasons why you attend and continue attend this particular church. I would continue to do so. And may God bless you.  :angel11:

I think u should look for a church that is the one that is His church not one that some man set up.there is only one that I know to be the church of Jesus Christ of later day saints!

Does the distance keep you from getting involved in all the services that might be beneficial to you and/or provide opportunities for service or ministry?  Does it hinder your (or your family members') chance to form supportive relationships, to use your God-given talents/gifts?  Perhaps making a list of pros and cons would be helpful in making a decision.  Also, have you tried different churches with the same or similiar belief systems that are located closer to you?  This is a really important decision and should be bathed in prayer.
