Being that shy kid..

I'm going to be honest. I'm still that loner, shy kid.

Can't seem to break the habit.

Shy kid, you look like a really nice girl.  :) I can't tell if you're sorry you're that shy kid or happy you're that shy kid.  :confused1: Please be happy for how God made you.

Being alone can be very productive. It gives your mind time to think. Being shy doesn't imply anything about your personality that would turn people off. I don't know how old you are, but I believe you have tremendous potential for whatever you want to do. :rainbow:

I am also a shy person. I don't like to talk in public  :-[

I hate speakers, LOL ! I also hated my speech class in High School. Every time I'd do a speech my face would turn burning red hot. Sometimes my eyes turned watery and I prayed nobody would notice  :'(

Thank you. I'm not entirely sure myself if i'm happy or upset I am that girl. I just know I want to change or better that aspect of me.

I am a shy person. I hated giving speeches in high school. Every time I'd feel I was being strangled or something. Sometimes I wish I was more outgoing.

I maybe a tad shy, but always had friends.  I do like being alone, but have never had trouble getting friends or new friends.

I never outgrew being shy.  I always envied those that were outgoing but I just couldn't do it.

It's very difficult to break out of being shy. You might try something like purposefully taking a class in public speaking or join a volunteer group. The idea is to try placing yourself in a social situation that encourages you to work with others, allowing you to express yourself. It may not get rid of your shyness but it may help. As for being a loner, that's not all bad. You learn self reliance that way, a great skill for life.

That's definitely something to bring up. :) It's true.

Its hard isn't it?  I am too, I cannot just start up a conversation with a stranger, no clue what to say.  With friends I know its entireally different

Public Speaking is the number one fear.   You're not alone.  :)
