Depression is a killer disease and Robin Williams was suffering deeply from depression. It breaks my heart to think that he could not feel the love that he so hugely deserved from all the people he brought so much joy to and all the people he helped. He supported St. Jude's and often visited children in hospitals who were suffering and he gave scholarships to deserving young students. Of course, he had his own problems in his personal life. He was human, after all. Everyone has problems and difficulties. It breaks my heart that no one could reach him in his darkness. He deserves every accolade and every praise that he gets. I hope that his family can find comfort and support from all of Robin's fans. Suicide leaves behind an almost insurmountable pain that is nearly impossible to overcome. I hope that his act can bring more light to the disease of depression.
