Were you ever nervous when presenting to the entire class?

I was always nervous giving presentations to groups, until I took this class called Effective Meetings and Presentations as a requirement for my workplace. That class taught me that giving a presentation is a skill that can be taught and simply requires good preparation. I remember the first day in the class when called upon to say a little about myself that this is one class that I really was not looking forward to taking, but it was probably the one I needed to take the most for work as a supervisor. That class was worth every penny!

All the time.  Even though I know everyone in my class but still.  That is why I usually never want to be a leader in a group unless I have too.

Yes sometimes I wanted to miss school so I wouldn't have to do it lol

I was so nervous I started to forget my words.  I never stop talking in front of people you just move on.

yes i still get nercous standing infront of a large crowd of people to do a presentation or to speak

Yes! It was a nerve wrecking ordeal too. English is my second Language and I could remember the day back in grade school I was supposed to present for my group and I didn't even finish the presentation. I tore up the chart and threaten the next person who asks a question about the presentation. That's how it went!!!

Yes very nervous .. I do not like public speaking at all. Perhaps if I had to do it on a regular basis I would get used to it.

Always! palms start sweating and get all shaky. Couldn't even make eye contact for 5 seconds

Nope. It's so easy for me. I have time to prepare, rehearse. I know exactly what to expect most of the time. Meeting new people, dating, stuff like that is way scarier in my opinion.
The only time I really get scared is if I'm presenting something creative like an original poem, song, painting, etc. Educational material though? No way.

I have always been nervous when speaking in front of a large group. I have to take a public speaking class next semester. I hope it helps.  Another problem that I have is the fact that I talk so fast. People have a hard time understanding me, and if I have to speak for a certain amount of time I have to try and slow down so that my presentation is not too short.

I don't talk well in groups...I have so much anxiety...I hardly talk well in small groups.  So its not something I do well...but I can if I have too.  hope everyone has a great day...

I always was nervous when I had to get up and speak in front of the whole class.  I had a speech problem - stuttering.  So I always felt the kids were making fun of me.  Now as an adult the stuttering is not quite as bad but I still feel uncomfortable talking to strangers or in large groups of people.  I feel most comfortable with my small circle of friends and family.

no but i do get nervous if a ton of eyes are watching me like a hall not a class room tho i do go on stage.

I hated to go in front of the class for book reports and assignments and I never got over it myself I still ate going in front of people and giving a report or demonstration.  I will never get over that.  I for one don't even like to leave my house and be around a bunch of people so this would be a very difficult thing for me.
