What are you looking forward to most about it?

I the best thing I am looking forward to in October is my 13 year anniversary.  The next thing is the cooler weather and the pretty color of the trees this time of year.

Cool weather so I can wear boots and scarves and jackets. Then of course, Halloween!!!! There are so many festive things I would do if I had the time and money, haha.

I really like the cooling off weather (here in Louisiana the summers are hot, so fall is like summer?) and the colors compared to spring.  Spring is green while the fall is orange-red.  I also just naturally feel better since the weathers cooler, not hot like the summer or wet and icy like during the summer. Then there's pumpkin pie and sweet potato too, there's also my birthday coming up, and o'- did I mention that since fall has come, taxes aren't that far away??

October is filled with a ton of events for my family.
I always look forward to it.  For me it signifies the beginning of the holidays.

Aside from deadlines that I've set in place for my book, as well as my church anniversary, October is just the way I like it, free.

October is the month of my Wife and mom's birthdays. It will be a great month to celebrate the 2 great women in my life. I love them equally the same.

Nothing much I do like Halloween though.  I hate that summer is gone.  I hate cold weather and even worse when the sun sets at 5pm.  I can't wait for warm weather again.  I miss it already.

We have a lot of birthdays in October.  I guess I really like that the weather starts getting a little bit cooler.  Cooler might not last but we'll get little spells of it.  I used to love to visit my Mom and Dad every 3 months for a couple of weeks and October was always one of my favorite trips.  We'd drive into the mountains and catch the leave changing.  It was so pretty!  Both of their birthdays was in October and I sure miss them.  They've been gone since 2007 and 2008.
