I think either gender has a right to play with dolls and cars!

I think as long as the toys are age appropriate they can play with whatever they want.

I encourage my granddaughters to play with cars and trucks.  I don't see anything wrong with it.  One of my grandson's was given a boy doll when he was a young toddler and I saw nothing wrong with that either.  Not so with older boys playing with dolls.

I see nothing wrong with it. One of my favorite toys growing up was a texico oil truck. I also think boys should be encouraged to cook with a kitchen play set and girls should be encouraged to build things with block sets etc :peace: :snowflake: :snowflake: :snowflake:

My girls played with cars, action figures, etc. My son also played with dolls, easy bake ovens etc.

I'm a girl and my folks has video of me tossing my dolls aside - never had any desire to play with them.  I was more interested in spaceships.  :D

As a mother of 5 I don't pay that much attention to the toys my kids play with when you have siblings you just play together.

i have a little boy and for christmas we got him a kitchen playset and he loves to play with dolls.  i dont mind at all as i dont think that a toy is going to turn my son straight or gay.  i think what is more important is that they are allowed to explore their interest freely without judgement

My son wanted a dollhouse and he got it and my daughter always plays with boy toys. I don't think it matters. I just  want everyone to get along and no I don't think it makes them gay.

When I was a little girl, I'd play with my brothers and their cars. I don't see a problem with that. As far as my brothers playing with my dolls, they were never interested in doing so. They were busy ripping off the heads and torturing them.

There's nothing wrong with either.  Especially in this day and age, people are really pushing to get "rid of" gender stereotypes.  Personally I don't agree with all the "progressiveness" but I still see nothing wrong with boys playing with "girl" toys or girls playing with "boy" toys.

I agree too.  As long they like to play, whatever toy is good for them too.  As long it's not violent toys.

As a girl growing up with an older brother I played with trucks and "boy" toys more than with dolls.  I never liked playing with dolls.  Whenever I played house I always played with teddy bears instead.
