If you've had one did you drink all of the prep drink?

I haven't had a colonoscopy.  I'm old enough; however, I'm opposed to the idea that I would sign a form releasing liability when it's a preventative procedure.  If I had symptoms and just cause for the procedure....

I'd consider doing it.  I do; however, believe it's healthy to cleanse the digestive system at least once a year.

I had my 3rd one today and it's a piece of cake except for the drink. I get one every 5 years due to the fact my Dad had colon cancer, better to be safe than sorry.

glad to know its a piece of cake .I think that drink will be difficult will have to wear a diaper that night.Need to get it done i know.

No diaper silly, well you can. You cant eat ANYTHING the day before. and the night before starting at 6pm I started the drink for every 15 min and finished at 10pm and was squeaky clean, then the fun begins...but it really is nothing

I have had them before.  It's really no big deal, the worst part is drinking the mix.  Truthfully, I did drink it, but never drank it all.

Nancy I didn't drink it all either. I was wanting to throw up after awhile, so long as you are clear that is when I stop

I avoid them completely. they are too invasive.
 A doctor I had years ago told me that there was another way to test things.
I did it that way.

Scoop the poop and send it in right lol...yeah that's another way, but the colonoscopy is the sure way I think anyways

I won't have to worry about one for a while, but I'll definitely do it...better to be safe than sorry and it doesn't sound too bad as a procedure

It really isn't bad at all

I plan on getting one, but my husband had one and yes he drank all of the drink.
