09-21, is the International Banana Festival. The banana plant is a herb and not a tree, and the easy to eat fruit is a favorite of infants to elderly and athletes. Do you cook with the banana's leaf? Maybe you can put bananas in the pecan cookie aw-geez that sounds delicious - just remember enjoy

I do like bananas but i never buy them because i forget i have them and then they go bad and i always end up throwing them away.

I absolutely love bananas but try to eat them in moderation because they have lots of calories. When they get very ripe, I mash them up and make banana nut bread out of them with walnuts.

I rarely eat them although I know they are full of potassium and good for me. I know I should eat more of them, but I like vegetables better than fruit.
