 one more chance sounds better.
there are times when you have just so many chances to get something right.

i am guilty of giving lots of chances --i want to believe that if givin another chance things can change and better things will happen --not always true but i would like to think i would be giving another chance if needed so i do the same for others

Yes last chance does sound final. I give my son many chances on certain things.
