Has anyone tried this black burger? My son wanted to try it, but they ran out of buns. Have to wait till next week when they bring more. Wonder how the bread tastes  :-[ :sad1:

I am with the majority of the FusionCash members who have replied so far.
The black bun does not look appealing to me.
It is loaded with dyes and such that are not healthy to eat.
It is a gimmick that doesn't entice me to eat at Burger King.

Isn't the black burger already a "thing" in another country? I could be wrong...

You are correct... The black burger originated in Japan and brought over to the states for Halloween. In Japan, however, the colored burgers are not used as a Halloween gimmick; Halloween has only been recently celebrated in Japan, mostly because of their admiration of American pop culture instead of deriving from the religious / Christian All Hallows Eve (the day before All Saints Day). The BK burgers in Japan are colored because they have such a small advertisement budget in that country, so BK uses these gimmicks solely for advertising. Now BK in Japan is offering red burgers (where everything, including the bun and cheese is red)...

Supposed to taste like A1 steak sauce or something.  Has an interesting look to it that is for sure.  I can see the appeal for kids for sure.   Well hope your son gets to try one.

It's a definite pass for me. A black burger would not be appealing.

Well, I am with the rest of you the color just turns me off.  It does not look at all appealing.

I'm sure its the coloring since black licorice does the same thing.  If course it could just be there is licorice root in the bread dough. No guarantees as i haven't really researched it as i have no reason to eat at bk anyways.
