Christmas Present for a Boss
« on: November 29, 2015, 01:50:21 pm »
Looking for ideas as to what to get my boss for Christmas. She is a woman in her 50's. Any suggestions?

I would say something most women would probably like, like a quality scented candle or jewelry, if you can gauge what style of jewelry she likes. Otherwise, you can't really go wrong with a gift card! Or, dare I say, some kind of food!  :) Good luck finding something! I'm sure the right gift will catch your eye.

Bath collections that come in different scents. Scented candles or a nice candle stand or a soothing small water fall with therapy sounds.

Candles, wine glasses, scarf, gloves. Guess it just depends on what she likes.

What about two tickets to a live show. It might be expensive

I would think scented candles or body wash/lotion in her favorite scent.  If she drinks wine and you know what she likes then a bottle or two.  Depending on how much you want to spend a gift card to an expensive restaurant.

I would look on her desk to see what she has. Maybe she likes/needs a mug? Or if she likes a certain sport, maybe you can buy her something for that. Or you can look into a gift certificate for a nail salon, you can't go wrong there.

I am in the same boat as you.  I always struggle with what to get my boss.  One year I gave her a nice picture frame so that she could put a pic of her family on her desk.  One year I gave her See's candy.

I have always found it to be convenient to know what their favorite restaurant is and give a gift card!  My boss thinks that is so thoughtful!

i would suggest finding out either a favorite place to shop or her favorite restaurant and getting her a gift card to there that way she is able to find what she wants and you were still able to give her a gift.

Anything to help her not think about work when she's at home.

If you don't get a xmas bonus from your boss then I wouldn't worry about getting your boss anything.

makes you feel fine.
