Was thinking of using tht service since u can pay it beforehand... but never had the situation when I need one

My daughter is in Europe right now, they are using Uber to get around Paris, her and her friend think it is the best way to get around the city. It has been very convenient for them and she said it seems so much safer than getting a taxi.

My husband tried to be an Uber taxi and its pretty good. They will check if your car is ok. You will send  your car registration and drivers license to them. Once you are a registered Uber taxi will let you download apps and the cellphone and whenever you are ready to drive just log on and the customers can check you and you get an alert if someone need a ride. Its pretty good to do it during holidays because the pay is depend on the demand. Everyday the per hour is different.

We don't have Uber where I live...would like to try it.  Wondering how it is compared to regular taxis....

I have heard about uber, but will not take on that type of work, I would rather drive a school bus...

Heard of them, never tried one yet. Wonder how they compare and contrast to a regular taxi, as far as cost, reliability, risks, etc.

I haven't used one as of yet.  I heard they are really expensive at peak hours.

I've never tried Uber but just last week I read that they have competition called Lyft.  Taxi companies don't like Uber at all.

I have used it recently and it's a great idea! It's a little expensive but well worth it instead of the price I a DUI!!!

I have heard of it and almost used it for the first time last month to get my mom a ride somewhere. Didn't end up using it that day but may in the future.
