Do you buy lottery scratch-offs for Christmas presents?  I use them for "stocking stuffers" and hope that someone gets real lucky and shares among the family. LOL!

Yes I get my mother scratch off for Xmas and birthday presents.  She hadn't won much with them though maybe a few dollars.

I think it's a senseless waste of money but I buy them cause my dad always asks for them and then loses 99% of the time! I keep suggesting to him that we put the money in an envelope and after a few weeks of setting aside 2 dollars that would have been spent on a scratch ticket, see how much money there is in the envelope. Perhaps someone will take my advice, scratch tickets may be kinda fun but it just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Sometimes, I agree they make nice stuffers and I am sure if the receivers wins anything they will be happy!
