It's all psychological...we can all say that arrowhead comes from downtown L.A. and other bottled water comes from the city and not the mountains. It's just the label and the talk to convince people to say tap water is really bad for everyone. We been living with tap water for so much (I would of been worried if we where in the Industrial era, but thirst is thirst) and what wrong has it done to us? The water from before is the same as now...

I drink tap water when at home.  Not when traveling, even inside the US.  Everyone does something a little bit different to their treatment.  Messes with the body.

Milk, however, does a body good.

i do not drink my tap water.  i cannot stand its taste.  and i can't blame it on bottled water because long before i was purchasing bottled water i wasn't drinking any water at all because i hated the tap water so much.

Generally no.  I used to have one of those Brita jugs.  If I do drink it I will only make iced tea or boil it for hot tea.  When I make iced tea I can tolerate it because the tea hides to taste.  I don't know if bottled water is any better but to me it tastes better.

dreamyxo--that's how i am.  the only time i "drink" tap water is when i use it to make tea or some flavored drink that hides the taste of the tap water.

Yeah, my mom is really paranoid, she buys constant bottles of water. I mean, I put my goldfish in tap water but I let it sit for two hours and put stuff in it to make it safer for her to live in.
She seems fine, but when I first put the water in the bowl it looks so disgusting.

Have you guys heard any water conspiracies? I heard that certain cities get less clean water on purpose.

My tap water always has an overwhelming smell of bleach, plus we have had a few ecoli and bacterial scares. So no, I don't drink it. I use a Brita pitcher for water for Kool Aid or tea. I drink bottled water otherwise.
I live in a small town in West KY.

I love in portland oregon and we have some of the best tap water.  I think it sometimes tastes better than bottled water. And I would rather drink the tap because I don't like to have to deal with all the plastic. TAP WATER ALL THE WAY!

When we lived in Hawaii my whole family drank tap water.  The water was so clean and pure tasting I even used it for my babies bottles.  Now that we live in Texas we drnk bottled water, I know technically the water is safe to drink but when it taste like dirt and chlorine and there are little floaties in it I dont drink it and would not make my family drink it.

I am scare to drink the tap water here in Baltimore. Recently, the local news reporter states that the water was tested and various pharmaceuticals was found in trace amounts.

Trace amounts or not, I am too scare to let my kids drink tap. So I buy a lot of bottle water-wish I didn't have too.

Well here out in Idaho the water isn't too pretty. It actually seems to fluctuate through the years, worse sometimes more than others.
Weird.
