I think that EVERYONE is entitled to a tip... it should never be expected, but hopefully always appreciated.

I do not  tip the mail carrier, they are already paid well to deliver the mail which  does not happen all of the time, I do not view their jobs as tipping positions.

No, I tip delivery people and waitresses but that is about it. I have never heard of tipping mailmen or post office people.

I usually give my mail man a bonus, but here lately, we had about 7 mailmen and women in the past 3 months.

I tip only waiters and waitresses. I don't see the point of tipping certain people when it's already factored into their pay, such as mailman

I don't tip mail persons, they are making a huge salary for delivering mail.  Why would anybody tip them?  It's their job.

Our condo has different mail carriers that deliver mail. So normally I dont tip them since someone different comes. But my mom in law always give the garbage man like 2 cases of soda.

Mail carriers are federal workers who make adequate pay and have good benefits.  I am not about to tip them.
Restaurant workers who make an inadequate hourly wage get tipped as long as their service is not ungodly horrible!
However, I AM sick of tipping hairdressers who already charge a very adequate amount to give a haircut.  I don't mean those who charge around $20-25, but some who charge $35-40 and more don't need tips on top of it.

I do, depending on the service.  Many people who are suppose to get tips make really low salaries so if they still give good customer service they deserve it.

Last Christmas I gave my mailman a $20 tip and he never acknowledged it.  So this year it slipped my mind.  Its always good to say Thank you.
