I have a middle name and used to used it frequently when I was more Pretentious. I eventually went with just the initial. But then I dropped it all together.  My middle name is my biographical father's first name and I want nothing to do with him. He robbed my sister of her self esteem and completely disappeared after my Mother left him. The mental abuse that he layered on my sister was no where near the mental and physical abuse given to my mother. To say that he is racist or predjudiced would be inaccurate because he hates everyone-including himself. He is trying to make up with the family and sends money to my children all of the time. I send anything addressed from him, to me,  back.

When I married I replaced my given middle name with my maiden name. So yes, I do have a middle and I had one as a child, but it is different now.

On my birth certificate I don't have a middle name! But on other life papers and certain online profiles my middle initial is V. I'm not sure why I was told I had a middle name when in fact I don't have one. Perhaps I misunderstood.

Wait that is unlikely as Other people thought my name was V as well. Strange world my life is but never boring! I'm interested to hear other interesting name stories!
