When was the last time you called the police?

I called the police a few months ago when a young lad rammed into my SUV which was parked at the side of the road. He rammed into my SUV so fast he pushed it up onto the curb 2 feet and along the road 6 feet. I live in a quiet neighborhood where the 25 mile per hour speed limit applies so you can only imagine how fast he was going. Thankfully, there was a good citizen following him who witnessed everything and also called the police and stayed with the guy until the police caught up with him. We later thanked him personally for his diligence.

I'm surprised they didn't need to haul him off in an ambulance.

About a year ago when a man who was not right in the head was showing his privates on the side of a busy road and flicking people off. I have seen him show his butt and do the same thing one other time. I was surprised to see him again. There are young ones in cars that probably would have seen and it was vulgar. No joke, true story.

I called in January just to document a township tree that fell on my call.  The tree had been dead  for some time but for some reason when they were in the neighborhood trimming the trees they did not take this one down. 

My insurance company fixed my car and is now going after the township to get reimbursed.  Who knows, maybe I will get my deductible back.

Why do you need to know that? Calling the police only concerns any particular person or people in distress. If someone you don't know personally is not or had not been feeling okay at any point in time, that's not your business.

It has been a long time, since I had to call the guys in blue....

I don't remember for sure the last time I dialed, but last summer I was out at night in the neighborhood with my partner and we heard a women in the upstairs of a house being assaulted, so she called 911. Talk about scary! Turns out the woman's 19-year-old was attacking her. He had mental health issues, apparently.

I called the police when I thought someone was breaking into my home.

My boss called because I was slapped across the face at work and threaten to kill me and my family. Not my best day.

It's been a while since I have even had to. So it has been a minute, my life is not all that exciting and I'm pretty accepting of others for the most part.

To be honest i don't remember its been so long

Its been about 6 years ago, I looked out the window and there were 3 horses in my front yard. I live in a rural area but the road in front of my house is a thoroughfare for semi trucks, and they were running back and forth across the road, luckily they had already been called and were looking for them, but the owner showed up before the police did, so I think they just let the owners come to gather them up

A couple months ago when I left work, someone had drove their car off a sidewalk and was stuck. I called the police that night.

I've only called the police one time in my entire life and it was when I was around 5-6 years old and when they picked up I panicked and hung up. They called back and I got I nice spatula whip to the hand.... I called them because my older cousin said she called them on for being bad so I wanted to call them back and tell them my side of it lol !!!
