How long does it take to be payed by using paypal?

i'm just wondering when you are being payed using paypal do you receive the money instantly or within a few days? Or is it just like getting a check where you have to wait till the 20th of the next month? ???

regardless of the type of payout you choose. payments will be processed on the 20th of the next month
